Perhaps the greatest thing this silly journal has been to me over the years, is the best way to hear myself think; in spilling everything out into words and trying to make some sense of what seems like a mess of emotions and my own muddled perspectives, writing it out gives me clarity — it helps me shape what I should feel and need to feel as I’m writing it, helps me understand where I am and where I need to go far better than keeping it all here in the unwashed echo chamber of my brain ever does ... and even when this process doesn’t open up the heavens to reveal some bright shining Answer, at least it usually puts the question in perspective and makes the lack of an answer more bearable, somehow.
